Talked to HYC Race and Regatta Chairman, Brian Hawboldt, last night and he said that the Freeport Triangle TORC will be open to SOS-TEX class.

They will offer a start, finish and score our class.

All we have to do is provide them with Class Rules and they can include use of Auto Pilots.

Thanks Brian and HYC.

I will be there.

Anyone else?

Sam

Is this race still SOS-TEX friendly & does anyone else plan to sail it?  Heald Bank was fun, maybe this one will be also.

I plan on taking Orion's Belt out for this one.

I hope we can get a few more boats to have a class.

If we cannot get enough boats to form a class, will HYC allow us to race shorthanded w/autopilots in another class?  Andrea did a superb job in the Heald Bank Race to accommidate the SOS-TEX entries.  I hope that Brian/HYC can be as flexible as Andrea/LYC were.  Can we modify our class rules to allow three entries instead of four to define the class?
