Bay Cup 1 is Saturday, March 7.  Dwight Bengston is the LYC race chairman this year.  A few short handed sailors have already signed up.  If you get enough boats to form a class, and you submit a copy of your class rules, you will be able to race under your class rules... so if your class rules allow autopilots you should be able to use them.  Kelly MacGuire will be playing at the party.  Steaks are back again.  Take a tour of Trinity Bay, wind permitting.  This is a single race regatta with distances between 11 and 27 miles, depending upon wind and speed of the boats in the class.  The race course will likely take you across the ship channel into Trinity Bay, so if you are not comfortable navigating across the cuts, this may not be the race for you.  Read the NOR on the lakewoodyachtclub.com website.
